JEWEL TONED IDAHO WEDDING

i want to bottle up this day and relive it forever and ever, and it wasn’t even my wedding day. the joy felt in every room probably would have overfilled any bottle anyways. i have had the pleasure of knowing rachael since college in the radiology program. we sat next to each other for two years and i can genuinely say she is the most kindhearted easy going human i’ve ever met. so when she told me about trevor and how she had started talking to someone new, i knew he was going to be quite the lucky guy. they met each other through facebook dating ( which i feel like a lot of people are sleepin on that platform), and were pretty much inseparable since then. i love my job as an idaho falls wedding photographer because I’m able to document love stories for all of my couples.

Documenting the Love Story

when i saw trevor popped the question, i was crossing my fingers i’d be able to document their special day because it wouldn’t be like just any other wedding. it would be captivating and full of story telling and the deeeetails man, i’m telling you. it was rachael + trevor in non human form plastered over the entire barn, and it was breathtaking.

rachael’s dad, martin, gave the sweetest love story and inspirational message during their ceremony, i was pretty much wiping tears away the whole ceremony. when i tell you IT WAS THAT GOOD. THEY INCORPORATED THEIR LOVED ONES IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. AND THE MOTHER SON DANCES RACHAEL HAD WITH HER TWO BOYS…. I CRIED AND I LAUGHED.

IT WASN’T ALL ENTIRELY SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS, I’VE NEVER SEEN A BRIDE DECORATE HER OWN CAKE, BUT RACHAEL IS A BAKER! SO IT SEEMED FITTING FOR HER TO MAKE IT POP HERSELF. BUT WHILE CUTTING HER STEMS off of the cake florals, SHE CHOPPED THE TIP OF HER FINGER. OUCH. BUT SHE HELD IT TOGETHER AND STILL PARTIED ALL NIGHT LONG! AND I HAVE TO SAY THE CAKE WAS STUNNING.

TO KNOW THESE TWO IS TO KNOW YOU HAVE QUITE AMAZING PEOPLE IN YOUR CORNER, AND TO BE THEIR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER WAS AN ABSOLUTE TREAT. I LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN KNOWING MY JOB AS AN IDAHO FALLS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER CAN GIVE PEOPLE EVERLASTING MEMORIES.

The Red Barn Event Center

This was my first time shooting at the Blackfoot event center and let me tell you, it was dreamy! It is stunning inside and outside. It gives you plenty of space if you decide to do an indoor or an outdoor ceremony, and you can decorate however need be to tell your story.

I’d absolutely love to document future weddings at this venue. There isn’t another quite like it located around Southeast Idaho. The color of the barn is so pretty, and stands out in photos in the best way! You’ll be able to throw the wedding of your dreams in this stunning space.
